Jordan Meadows
Jordan Meadows started training at StarWest under Alice Martin when she was 12 with her Arabian partner Nassim.
In 2003 her parents purchased Lerro, a 1993 Dutch Warmblood gelding by Ferro. Both Kathryn Fleming-Kuhn and Martin Kuhn were added to her training program plus regular clinics with Gerhard Politz. During Jordan's two-year partnership with Lerro, they won numerous awards from CenterLine Dressage and received the Cheryl Finke Memorial Award for the high scoring Freestyle at the 2004 CenterLine Classic show. In 2005 they were Region 4 Junior/Young Rider Champion at Third Level and Jordan earned her USDF Bronze Medal. Also in 2005 the pair qualified for the USEF Junior National Team Championships at Devon and were on the bronze
medal winning team.
In 2005 Meadows sold Lerro and leased Lucero from former StarWest Barn Manager Amy Jordan. Lucero, a 1992 Holsteiner trained to I-1, arrived on January 1, 2006. Immediately they began training with Fleming-Kuhn for the North American Young Rider program and were first alternate for Region 2. Meadows and Lucero were CenterLine Dressage’s Reserve Champion for Fourth Level, Novice Musical Freestyle, and Champion Novice Prix St. George. In addition they were Region 4 Reserve Champion in both the YR Team and YR PSG test. In 2006
Meadows earned her USDF Silver Medal.
