Kelley Clausing came to StarWest as a student in 2004 after completing bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history at the University of Illinois. In 2006, she moved on-site to become barn manager. In 2008, Kelley and her Hanoverian gelding, Wakan, won champion Adult Amateur at Training Level and champion novice at First Level for CenterLine Dressage. In 2009, Kelley and “Wally” were CLD's champion Adult Amateur at both Second and Third Levels. Kelley is enjoying learning from Wally and is looking forward to completing the scores for her bronze medal in 2010.
