Kristen Solberg

Working Student

Kristen Solberg began riding at StarWest in 2005.  First introduced to horses as a baby on her grandparent's ranch and farm in North Dakota, she's been addicted to them ever since.  She started riding western, mostly on the farm, and whenever she could beg lessons from her parents. Once Kristen received her driver's license, she began working for barns and trail riding facilities in exchange for saddle time.

After graduating from SIUC with a B.S. in Zoology, Kristen spent a few years working wildlife jobs around the U.S.  Upon her return to Illinois, Kristen found StarWest and began fulfilling a lifelong ambition to learn the art of dressage.
