Sir Celebration

The Sir Celebration has been held annually, with two exceptions, since 1986. It has raised thousands of dollars for the U.S. Equestrian Team, the body that supports U.S. equestrian olympic endeavors, over the years as well as money for each year's co-beneficiary. Usually it is held on the last Saturday evening of July.

The evening starts with a dinner held in the StarWest arena and moves to the outdoor for a performance of musical rides and "Through the Levels", a narrated presentation that shows the training scale using horses in training at StarWest as demonstrators. Both mounted and in hand training is shown. The evening usually concludes with a guest star performing an upper level freestyle.
